Wicked Time at Galaxy Theaters, All Thanks to Fandango!

Team Elphaba 💚 or Team Glinda 🫧?

Thanks to the generosity of Fandango, fifty members from our Carson City Club gathered for an unforgettable Thanksgiving Break field trip, a chance to experience Wicked For Good together! From the moment we arrived at Galaxy Theaters, there was a buzz in the air: smiles, laughter, and the excited chatter of friends picking out their shirts — green for those rooting for Team Elphaba, pink for Team Glinda.

As the lights dimmed and the show began, you could literally feel the energy ripple through the group. Some held their breath during the big moments, others cheered or even wiped away happy tears. By the end, there was a shared sense of wonder from the Emerald City, like we’d all just taken part in something bigger than ourselves.

After the movie, the fun didn’t end. Members swapped stories about their favorite scenes, compared notes on costumes and music, and some even admitted they had a new favorite character. The green shirts and pink shirts mingled and joked about which “team” had won at the end of the movie.

It wasn’t just a movie outing; it was a memory. A chance for youth to connect, for new friendships to spark, and above all, for our Club to wrap itself in a little bit of magic together. Here’s to many more memories, and more shared laughter, more stories, and more Club pride. Great futures start here!
