Nevada Ready! State Pre-K Program
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada are thrilled to offer a no-cost Pre-K program through Nevada Ready! from the Nevada Department of Education. To be eligible for the Nevada Ready! program, children must be 4 years old on or before August 1, 2026, and families must meet the income eligibility which consists of a household income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). This program is only offered at the North Carson Center & Thompson Center locations.

Meet the Director: Rachel Little
Rachel brings more than 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, having served in both teaching and leadership roles throughout her career. She is passionate about creating nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Rachel is currently continuing her education and working toward a degree in Health and Family Studies, further strengthening her commitment to supporting children and families. Her extensive experience, dedication to early childhood education, and focus on building strong relationships with families and staff make her an excellent addition to our leadership team.
