Youth of the Year: Annual Awards Banquet
Each year, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada recognizes our outstanding youth, board members, and community partners who help make our Club mission become a reality.
Honoring our Youth
Our annual Awards Banquet showcases our members and community partners for both the Carson City and Carson Valley Clubs. Awards are handed out for stars in each program--Fine Arts, Tech Center, Games, Center of Hope Learning Center, Sports, and Teens. An overall excellence award will be awarded to one male and one female from each club. Our final member award recognizes our Teen Youth of the Year. They will receive an award, small scholarship, and will continue on to compete at the regional and national level of the Youth of the Year competition.
Alongside our member awards, we recognize community partners and board members who went above and beyond in fundraising and volunteer efforts for our Clubs.
