City National Bank
Jerilyn Johnson joined the Carson Valley Community Council in 2006 and the corporate board in 2012. Growing up, Jerilyn said she had a stable home life with everything she needed, so she wanted to make a difference for kids who are not afforded that luxury and are at risk. Her husband Ralph was on the charter board of the Carson Valley Community Council, and when he would no longer serve due to professional responsibilities, Jerilyn happily claimed his seat on the board.
A lifetime banker, Jerilyn is the branch manager for City National Bank in Minden. She and Ralph have been happily married for 33 years and have three daughters ages 31, 27 and 22, and have been happily blessed with their first grandchild, Harper, who is 14 months old.
Jerilyn loves to travel, and says her favorite city is Paris, even though she reluctantly visited on her first trip. She also loves volunteering in the community, and aside from her work on the Boys & Girls Club board, she is involved with the Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Business Council of Douglas County, is a past member of Soroptimist International of Carson Valley and is a charter member of the board of the Douglas County Backpack Buddies.
